2010 INTERNATIONAL WORKBOAT SHOW:
CATERPILLAR® TO HIGHLIGHT CUSTOMER-ORIENTED PRODUCTS AND SERVICE PROGRAMS
Caterpillar Marine Power Systems will highlight the wide range of Cat and MaK products and global service capabilities available to meet customer demands regardless of application or location at the International WorkBoat Show in New Orleans, Louisiana, December 1-3, 2010. This is the largest commercial marine tradeshow in North America, a credential event attended by thousands each year.
This year, the Caterpillar booth will feature fifteen minute overviews provided by subject matter experts on a variety of topics. The subject matter experts will provide high-level overviews on subjects ranging from technical and financial support to emissions solutions offered by Caterpillar. The overviews will occur every hour on the hour on both Wednesday, December 1st and Thursday, December 2nd.
From the entrance of Hall A, exhibition visitors will notice two vertical structures in the Caterpillar booth along with graphic walls depicting "Solutions for Your Success."
Caterpillar will convey an increased focus on customer solutions through deep dive stations located throughout the booth as Caterpillar is dedicated to offering not only new products, but supporting the product through the life of the engine. Visitors are encouraged to visit each station as subject matter experts will be available to discuss critical solutions Caterpillar is able to provide to ensure customer success. By stopping by the deep dive stations, visitors will also be eligible to enter a drawing for iPads. The winners of the iPads will be announced during the Cocktail Receptions on December 1st and 2nd.
Caterpillar will continue to demonstrate its continued emphasis on sustainable practices by utilizing iPads to interact with customers and share contact, enabling the Caterpillar booth to be virtually paperless at the 2010 International Workboat Show. Additionally, at least 90% of the booth, graphics and displays will be re-usable for future Caterpillar shows.
